Council proposed to construct footpaths along Mason and Charteris Streets, Port Elliot, and sought feedback on the surface material to be used in the construction.
The footpaths for both Charteris and Mason Streets are planned to be constructed along the property boundaries and will run from North Terrace through to Arthur Street.
This side has been chosen for the ease of construction with limited impacts of vegetation, property verge arrangements and installed utility services.
The planned surface treatment is Asphalt as per the existing footpaths on the adjoining roads and welcome feedback should concrete or other materials be the preferred choice of the community.
